International organisations

The Municipality of Gotland works extensively in different international cooperations. Below you can find the organisations where the municipality is most active listed. B7, Baltic Islands Network 
The seven largest islands in the Baltic Sea Region. During 2006 Åland holds the chairmanship in the organisation responsible for developing and implementing B7’s plans for the year and running the Secretariat of the organisation. CPMR
Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions of Europe, consist of around 80 costal regions in the Seas of Europe. Within the framework of CPMR five commissions are active, Gotland participates in the Islands Commission and the Baltic Sea Commission. The municipality has also accepted the responsebility of the BSC Secretariat managed by Anne Ståhl-Mousa.

UBC 
Union of the Baltic Cities, consist of almost 70 cities from the countries around the Baltic Sea. Visby and Gotland is together with Szcsecin the UBC Commission of Culture. Further information on the work being done in the UBC can be found here.
